Welcome to HR Clips (“we,” “us,” “our”), an Australian-based online recruiting platform that connects job seekers, employers, and recruiters through video content. By accessing or using the HR Clips website and services (“Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.


1. Platform Overview

HR Clips enables:

Employers to upload videos describing vacant positions, company culture, and other job-related information.

Job Seekers to upload videos showcasing their skills, experience, and professional attributes.

Recruiters & Viewers to view content for recruitment purposes.

All uploaded content is publicly accessible to anyone on the Platform and may also appear in search engines. By using HR Clips, you consent to this public visibility.


2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old.

Employers must have authority to represent their organisation.

By using HR Clips, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.


3. Content Ownership, Rights & Permissions

Ownership: You retain ownership of videos, images, and other materials you upload (“User Content”).

Licence to HR Clips: By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, and promote your User Content for the purpose of recruitment and Platform promotion.

Permissions: You must have all necessary rights and written consents from every identifiable person, company, or brand featured in your video, including permission to use their name, image, and voice. We may request proof of such consent at any time.

Prohibited Material: You must not upload anything that infringes intellectual property rights, privacy, or any applicable law. This includes unauthorised music, third-party logos, or images.


4. Content Duration & Removal

Listing Expiry: Listings and associated videos will be removed from public view 30 days after posting, unless:
a) You request earlier removal; or
b) We mutually agree to keep them active for longer.

User Requests: You may request removal of your content at any time by contacting us. We will action removal within a reasonable timeframe.

Backup Copies: Some content may remain in system backups for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.


5. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Platform to:

Upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory content.

Mislead, harass, or cause harm to other users.

Circumvent security or data protections.


6. Platform Rights

We may:

Remove any content that breaches these Terms.

Suspend or terminate your account for violations.

Modify or discontinue the Platform without notice.


7. Disclaimer & Liability

HR Clips is provided “as is” and we make no guarantees about User Content accuracy or suitability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, damage, or claims arising from your use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.


8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify HR Clips from any claims or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your misuse of the Platform.


9. Intellectual Property

HR Clips’ name, logo, and Platform design are our property. You must not use them without written permission.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in NSW courts.

By uploading videos or images, you understand they are publicly accessible and may be viewed, shared, or downloaded by others.

You must have the consent of every identifiable person in your video before uploading.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not breach privacy or copyright laws.


4. Content Retention & Removal

Listings and associated videos will remain public for 30 days after posting unless:
a) You request earlier removal; or
b) You and HR Clips agree to a longer display period.

We may retain backups of removed content for up to 90 days for system integrity and legal compliance.

If content is removed at your request, it will no longer be visible on the Platform within a reasonable timeframe.


5. Disclosure of Information

We may share information with:

Recruiters, employers, and job seekers using the Platform.

Service providers that support our operations (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing).

Regulators, law enforcement, or as required by law.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.


6. Security

We implement reasonable measures to protect your information. However, as the Platform is public, we cannot guarantee complete security against unauthorised access.


7. Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act, you may:

Request access to your personal information.
